Project: Debug CSS and site problems

Note: this is a current, ongoing project, subject to change.

Original home page had CSS and other bugs and was relying solely on table cells for positioning all content. Also, site was loading with a horizontal scroll bar on some browsers (site was too wide).

Client needed a clean-up job prior to rolling out additional pages and scaling up site.

  • New site retained a few table cells to ensure maximum (early IE) browser compatibility - but eliminated 2/3 of previous table cells
  • CSS now used for positioning and style - making site easier to scale up
  • Header image and text resized for easier fit - while still allowing room
