Project: eHarmony direct response interactive micro-siteSite works in conjunction with direct mail program. Qualified mailing list with contact information and other parameters are housed in a SQL database owned by direct mail agency/vendor. Uses VBScript, ASP, SQL, CSS, HTML |
Recipient of direct mail piece logs into one of 3 different URLs depending upon their offer. Images and text are swapped out dynamically depending upon URL. User then enters a pre-assigned priority code from the mailer, or VIP number. Also possible to log in as "guest".
|
User is directed to a form that is pre-populated with their contact information - or in the case of a "guest", the form is blank. The user enters their dating parameters, email address, and creates a password. ![]() |
Data stored in database and then user is passed from direct mail vendor server to eHarmony server where it is validated against current eHarmony member data. If email has been previously used (example below), then user is directed to use existing member login. If not, they are passed to the eHarmony qualification questionaire. ![]() |
If login, or VIP number is erroneous, the user sees this screen. ![]() |
Form is also validated server side prior to submitting to eHarmony. Blank form fields trigger warning in red. ![]() |
